Care homes must demonstrate their ability to provide meaningful activity that promote emotional, social, physical and mental wellbeing. Whilst not all activities on the program will always engage all residents, it is important that there is a variety of activities planned with the residents interests in mind.

Xpress-Yourself work to address this need to provide meaningful activity through our creative dance workshops across the West Midlands.
What we do
Xpress-Yourself Creative Dance Workshops are often the most enjoyed activity on the care home activity program as our fun sessions promote creativity, self-expression opportunity to reminisce and a chance to move and dance in a seated or standing capacity.
We’re different from other dance workshops as we have an emphasis on person centred interaction offering everyone the opportunity to dance and move in their own way and own time.
Our Feedback
Dementia Friendly
Our workshops also rely on body language and gesture to engage residents rather than shouting instructions so that any confusion of language is eliminated. Our approach is completely Dementia friendly.
