Staying active in later life. It’s really important to exercise and stay physically active as you get older. Exercise can lower your risk of developing a variety of health conditions, including heart disease and dementia. It can also help to reduce your risk of falls.

By attending regular groups that encourage physical activity .older people will have the opportunity to socialise with like minded people this helping to overcome and prevent loneliness.

There are many physical activities that may appeal to older adults including walking football. seated exercise, walking, yoga and dance just to name a few.

Xpress-Yourself run Keep Dancing runs several Keep Dancing classes across Walsall, West Midlands. Keep Dancing is a dance class suitable for older adults, where participants learn new styles of dance each month with no partner required. Quite often participants will have various health problems including arthritis, asthma and heart conditions.

First class is FREE and then £5 per session thereafter.
