Activities for Older Adults in West Bromwich

Are you an older adult living in West Bromwich? Do you want to lead a healthier lifestyle?

We all know how important staying active is for our minds and bodies, especially as we get older. Regular exercise can strengthen our bones and muscles, relieve pain, and help us maintain a healthy weight. As well as this, the brain co-ordination and endorphin release keep our minds sharp and our mood lifted.

Joining a club or trying out new activities are great ways to meet new people with similar interests. It has been widely documented that a vibrant social life, alongside exercise, are the key aspects to living a longer life. Psychologist Susan Pinker explains here how close personal relationships and face-to-face interaction could be the secret to living past 100.

Just remember… exercise doesn’t have to be a chore! There are endless ways you can get your blood pumping whilst having fun. To help you out, we’ve listed some of these activities below, simply click the link of each activity to head straight to the website;

Learning the dances is tremendous fun, but one of the best parts is having a laugh with the other dancers – you’ll quickly form bonds to last a lifetime! You can read some feedback from our dancers below.
