Purple Angels runs a campaign to provide those living with dementia with free MP3 players.
Each MP3 player will have a personalised selection of the person’s 15 favourite songs. Music has been shown to benefit those living with dementia, with musical memories remaining accessible for far longer than other memories. Being able to their listen to favourite songs can provide joy and comfort to those living with dementia.

The Price is Right
Bring the well known game show to your care setting. Find items or grocery items from around the home that you already have and sit your residents down for a guessing game of whether the item is higher or lower then a suggested price. You could write down different prices on a piece of paper. Guaranteed a giggle and to get your residents thinking and could even lead to a reminisce activity about the price of grocery items back in the day.
