In May we introduced the dance Cha Cha, dancing to Loco in Acapulco. Cha cha was a popular request from our dancers and we like to ensure we keep our participants happy. Also whilst the Cha cha has a carefree nature it usually danced to upbeat music that often has a party feel. Music that makes you feel good can make you experience a dual action of dopamine and endorphins, a hugely pleasurable combination.
The Cha Cha is danced on a 4/4 timing and due to the energetic nature it is recommended to keep those dance steps tiny. Tiny dance steps means that you are working harder often resulting in your heart beating faster, consequently strengthening the heart muscle. Happiness and healthiness are both positive benefits from dancing and so dancing the Cha Cha Cha is definitely a way to make you feel more cheerful.
